Appointment Cancellation Policy
We require 48 hours’ notice of an appointment cancellation (for both treatment and consultation appointment slots).
Treatment Appointment Slots
For certain treatment appointment types we will ask you for a £50 booking fee to be paid at the point of booking. This can be paid via debit card, or cash in person or via bank transfer. Unfortunately we do not accept cheques. If you are unable to pay this when you first book, the appointment slot will be held for you for 24 hours, after which time it can be taken by other clients.
You can put 100% of this tranferable booking fee towards the cost of your treatment at your appointment. If you decide not to go ahead with treatment at your appointment, the £50 will be refunded to you upon request. This can take up to 10 working days to be credited back to your card. However if this should occur after the 48 hours notice time previously stated the booking fee will not be refunded and you will be charged this amount.
For consultations the transferable booking fee will be £10 charge - with the above terms applied.
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment slot, the fee can be refunded upon request as long as you give us 48 hours’ notice.
For prescription only treatments there will be a non refundable but transferrable booking fee of 50%- this is because the products used for treatment can be prescribed and used only for you.
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment slot, as long as you give us 48 hours’ notice your product can be held for 3 months to be used at a later day but only at the next appointment. If the period of notice is short of the 48hours required your products will be held for 3 months but there will be a additional charge of £50 at the point of use of products. Due to prescribing regulations the products will not be able to be administered by another practitioner outside of Purple Aura and therefore can not be given to you.
Consultation Appointment Slots
Consultations at Purple Aura are free. Consultation appointment slots are standalone appointments in which the client and the clinician discuss treatment but none is carried out.
We do, however, take a £10 booking fee at the point of booking consultation appointment slots. Unfortunately we do not accept cheques. If you are unable to pay this when you first book, the appointment slot will be held for you for 24 hours, after which time it can be taken by other clients.
The £10 is then refunded to you upon request as long as you attend your appointment or can be transferred towards the cost of the booking fee of your treatment. This can take up to 10 working days to be credited back to your card.
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment slot, the £10 booking fee can be refunded upon request as long as you give us 48 hours’ notice prior to your given appointment time.
Following your consultation, if you would like to book a treatment appointment slot, we will ask you for a further £40 deposit to make the deposit up to £50 for non-prescribed treatments or up to the value of 50% for those that are prescribed and all the above rules will then apply re ‘Treatment Appointment Slots’.
Refusal of Treatments
We reserve the right to refuse treatment where our clinicians deem it inappropriate for any reason and the clinician’s decision is final in this regard.
Please note that we do not provide treatments for anyone aged under 18 years.
Act of God
Purple Aura does not issue refunds for Acts of God. An Act of God is defined as an event outside of human control such as sudden floods, earthquakes or other natural disasters, for which no one can be held responsible. This also includes weather-related issues such as snow, ice, floods etc.
If Purple Aura chooses to cancel a clinic due to an Act of God then it is not liable for any loss resulting to the customer as a result of this cancelled clinic. Purple Aura will make all reasonable effort to replace a cancelled clinic by arranging an alternative date but this cannot be guaranteed. Where the majority of customers for that clinic have been affected, this will be made free of additional charge.
Amendment re COVID 19
due to the unprecedented enforced restrictions during times of this pandemic, and due to track & tracing and isolation obligations, I will not be charging booking fees for any other treatment than prescription treatments, in my bid to reduce anxiety of my clients and inappropriate charging. for prescription treatments, the terms remain as outlined above. I have the right at any point to reverse this amendment and paying of any fee means that you have entered into a contract where you agree to abide by the T&Cs outlined above.
